1^st National Biocidal Congress (with International Participation) was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Ankara University and Akdeniz University in Antalya on 4-7 November 2010.

About 750 persons from different professional disciplines participated in the congress which its main topic was “Environment & Public Health”. The targeted ecological conscious has been gained on maintaining and sustainability of Biocidal Congresses which aims to bring the ecological point of view to the biological struggling methods.

Under the scope of Congress, the impacts of biocidal pesticides and disinfectant purposed products that are used to struggle with the harmful organisms, insects and bacteria on the ecological system have been discussed and the measures that may be taken on this issue have been emphasized.
